Draw out your image and tape off your shirt. This painting was done on a light grey t-shirt.

Using opaque grey, begin lightly sketching out your drawing on the shirt. Fill in around the eyes and use "dagger strokes" for the fur markings...

Make sure to follow the direction and pattern of the fur in your reference photo. This is essential to create the correct shape and flow of the animal.

Using magenta, spray the nose and mouth areas lightly. Adding small amount to the eyes in the upper portion. Add value to create shadow areas by spraying a little darker.

Use an orange mixture -transparent, to mist over the existing magenta in the mouth and nose. Begin filling in the tiger's head with white.

Create fur stokes here using the dagger stroke method and fill in the teeth and eyes with white, leaving the magenta untouched within the eyes.

Next add violet - transparent, to the shadow areas in your reference, going over some of the gray markings. Mist the violet lightly over the magenta in the eyes and some in the mouth areas.

Add navy blue - tranparent, over all the violet areas, lightly misting, to create depth and blend the image together. Add this to the mouth, around the eyes and nose, and add a pupil.

Add navy blue to the gray markings using dagger strokes and pull some out into the white. Add this to the nose, mouth, and eyes as well.

Touch up the fur strokes with white and go back over the markings again with black, only spraying in the the center of the marking and around eyes to leave the edges softer. Repeat violet and blue mist.

Repeat white again. Mist a small amount of golden yellow within the mouth, teeth, and nose. Add a very small amount of magenta over the golden yellow and finally add a mist of navy blue over this.

Mist eyes with violet then navy blue and go back in with white on botom portion and blend upward. Then lightly mist again with violet and blue ontop, being carfull to leave some white at the bottom.

Next add a thin white line to the bottom of the eyeballs and add highlights to the pupils, nose, and mouth areas. Fill the in teeth with more white to brighten.

Next go back over any areas to clean them up and define them further and using white, add whiskers to the nose and some on the eyebrows.
